CCTV took off like a catapult with the hit single We Belong in 2010: nominated for Unsigned Act of the year (NRK Urørt), received substantial airplay on national radio (NRK P3), and after touring Norway, finished off the festival season with a spot at the prestigious Øya-festival. Fueled by the success, but determined to take it even further, CCTV went straight back into the studio again.

CCTV is the bastard popchild of frontman and songwriter Shaun Curtis, mainly, but never solely. Working in close collaboration with studio wizard Audun Borrmann (Thom Hell, Rockettothesky, Pow Pow, et. and the band Pow Pow, CCTV is releasing the debut album ‘Hope & Destroyer’ September 14th 2012. Destroyer is a Canadian rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia fronted by singer-songwriter Dan Bejar and formed in 1995. Destroyer songs are characterized by abstract, poetic lyrics and idiosyncratic vocals. The band's discography draws on a variety of musical influences, resulting in albums that can sound markedly distinct from one another; in Bejar's words, "That's kind of my goal: to start from scratch every time.
