This one is almost all good, full of stomping seventies pop with freaky synth lines and wah guitar ("Rock N'Roll Bum", "Witchypoo"), shangalangalangs and doobeedoobeedoos ("Singing Backing Vocal")! There's also "Connections In The City", which is kind of a cool proto-disco tune with a riffy acoustic guitar bed, sweeping strings, a neat melody and sweet backing vocals. Basically all the cool seventies pop production touches seem to show up on the record, and the songwriting's good.Nice surprise!
