La Toya Jackson is the 1980 self–titled debut album from American singer La Toya Jackson. It was released in America and mainland Europe. The album is most known for "Night Time Lover", a track produced by La Toya's brother Michael Jackson, who provides background vocals on the refrain. The album peaked at on the Billboard 200, on the Billboard R&B charts, and in the UK. It spawned two singles: "If You Feel the Funk" and "Night Time Lover".

Her sophomore album, "My Special Love" followed the next year, however it did not do as well and she was dropped in 1982. She signed to minor record label Private-I Records in 1983, and they released her breakthrough third album, "Heart Don't Lie" in 1984. Her success continued with her fourth album, "Imagination" but was cut short when Private-I went bankrupt later that year in 1986.
