Croce (born September 28, 1971) is an American singer-songwriter. He is the son of Jim Croce and Ingrid Croce. Croce was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, on September 28, 1971, and his early years were filled with tragedy. His father died in a plane crash just before his second birthday, and he and his newly-widowed mother had to move to San Diego, almost 3,000 miles from his native city and the rest of his family.
